Viridi won the tender for an ECI supplier engagement on the project and have been an integral member of the design team through the main contractor tender. The project is a 4-storey private school which seeks to celebrate timber in its internal finishes. Viridi are providing a full structural and building envelope solution from the ground up inclusive of glulam beams and columns, CLT walls, steel framing, our proprietary timber-concrete composite floor system Strongfloor, lightweight pre-clad walls and roof trusses. With such a large number of materials and systems it has required a high degree of coordination across multiple disciplines.

Project Description
ViRIDI provided an alternative panelised prefab structural solution for the potential delivery of 11 x Living-In Accommodation units for Defence at HMAS Creswell. The successful Head Contractor selected the ViRIDI system post tender as it provided the most cost-effective solution whilst maintaining the very strict delivery program. The ViRIDI solution is a timber-based Kit of Parts prefab solution that utilises structural subfloor cassettes, prefinished internal and external wall panels, CLT suspended floor panels and prefabricated raftered roof cassettes with preinstalled sarking and roof battens ready for roof sheeting. The wall panels are prefinished with external cladding, window suites, sarking, insulation, electrical service provisions and internal plasterboard linings to achieve the required fire and acoustic ratings. The ViRIDI prefab system is manufacture and erected on site within a matter of weeks per unit, which provides exception program benefits whilst maintaining the local content requirements through the onsite fit out works being completed by the Head Contractor.

Project Description
The Picnic Point Primary School redevelopment will be the first of many School Infrastructure NSW project that will utilise hybrid timber construction included Viridi’s Strongfloor & Delta Beam solution. The project is a 2-storey public school where Viridi is providing a full structural and building envelope solution from the ground up inclusive of prefabricated external and internal timber framed wall panels, structural columns, Delta Beams, Strongfloor and perfricated roof cassettes. The external wall panels will be manufactured with preinstalled glazing units and cladding, which when coupled with the prefabricated roof cassettes will achieve lock up within only weeks. The use of the Strongfloor & Delta Beam solution allows for reduced floor to floor heights, easy service integration and an exposed timber soffit.

Project Description
ViRIDI were chosen as the kit of parts supplier to this four classroom homebase unit based in SINSW’s DFMA principles. The project is a single storey timber framed building, supported on screw piles. ViRIDI have been an integral part of the design process, working with the builder, client and design team to develop a building that is cost-effective, fast to install and repeatable across other school buildings. With all components being finished in the factory prior to being delivered to site ViRIDI have worked to develop unique connection details and construction methodologies to suit the building construction.

These luxury pavilions at the Intercontinental Hayman Island Resort have the highest quality of finished and are immersed in nature at a secluded retreat overlooking the breathtaking Hayman Bay with a private plunge pool and outdoor terrace.

These high-end display modules were manufactured for Mulpha’s Norwest Quarter apartment developments in Sydney. The display suites were constructed into completely volumetric modules using Viridi’s kit of part systems including pre-clad timber-framed walls as well as prefabricated timber subfloor and roof cassettes. The display suites were jointly designed by both Bates Smart & Smart Design Studios and are located at the Norwest Quarter Community Garden.

Project Description
ViRIDI provided an alternative tender for this unique geometrical timber roof structure to achieve the architect’s challenging visual requirements. We completed digital modelling of all glulam elements, connection details and coordination of construction logistics and modules. All glulam, CLT and steel connections were procured and coordinated through Viridi with as much as possible being pre-installed at our factory in Campbelltown. We will also be responsible for the installation of the modules on site.

The Taronga Wildlife Retreat will provide a new overnight conservation experience for visitors which will wrap around a native wildlife sanctuary and nestle within the new Australian Habitat. The Incubator is a purpose-built facility designed by Architectus as a meeting place for entrepreneurs to meet with mentors and those wishing to create, collaborate, inspire, motivate and innovate. The whole exposed timber structure is made up of approximately 2,000m2 of Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) and 1,250l/m of Glulam as well as 760l/m of Victoria Iron Ash Australian hardwood for the ‘V’ columns used to support each roof cassette. The timber floor consists of 7,300l/m of pine LVL for the floor cassettes.
